Here we go:
Most of you should be familiar with the Menschen series. Menschen offers online exercises to train your vocabulary and communication skills, as well as grammar structures for the levels A1.1 through to B1.2.
A1:
Menschen A1.1
Menschen A1.2
A2:
Menschen A2.1
Menschen A2.2
B1:

Menschen B1.2
While Menschen uses a modular approach, the series Schritte Plus Neu builds on a story where you can accompany a main character through the book. There are corresponding online exercises to every unit which may help you even if you don’t use the course book.
More advanced learners can practice their German with the interactive online training that Sicher offers.
B1+: (bridge course)
SICHER! B1+
B2:
SICHER! B2
C1:
SICHER! C1
For beginners, the online version of the text book series „Lagune“ may also be an interesting option – even though the layout and textbook itself is generally quite outdated, there are some useful exercises. They focus on the different competences of grammar, reading, writing, listening and speaking. As a fun plus, the website may also give you some nostalgic vibes just from browsing it! 😉
It’s definitely not just Hueber who provide us with online exercises. Klett/ Cornelsen, another German language publisher, also offers a huge variety of exercises for beginners and German experts. You can find the homepage for these activities here.
If you want to get off your laptop but keep your learning digital for your German skills, you might want to check out our post on „Learning German with Apps and online links“.
Enjoy! And have fun! 🙂
