Grammar Tip: Some useful exercises.. (part 1/3)
In our classes, students often ask for extra support with grammar topics they find challenging. As teachers, it’s always inspiring to watch how learners work through new structures: looking up vocabulary, experimenting with sentence patterns, and actively trying to use them in conversation.
Very often, grammar difficulties are not about complexity but about practice. Our brains need time and repetition to process new information and apply it naturally in context. With the right tools, learning can become both effective and enjoyable.
Our teacher Dani has been researching creative and interactive “word wall games” that make practicing grammar more dynamic and fun. These activities are especially helpful for reinforcing structures in a playful way and encouraging students to use language actively rather than just memorizing rules.
This is the first part of a three-part series. In today’s edition, we focus on one of the most common challenges for German learners: prepositions with the accusative and dative case.
A big thank you to Dani for her dedication, creativity, and the extra time she put into developing these learning tools for our students. We hope they help make your German practice a little easier — and a lot more fun!
