Hanging out at Hasenheide

The sun was out, the temperatures were soaring, and we couldn’t have asked for a better evening for our summer get-together at Hasenheide.

Last Thursday, Transmitter students and teachers came together for a relaxed evening filled with picnic blankets, music, table tennis, plenty of good conversations, and a new favourite: Kubb (also known as Viking Chess). We met at the school, picked up a few snacks and drinks on the way, and settled into a shady spot in the park — der Schatten, our German word of the day.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and made the evening so special. It was wonderful to see people from all over the world spending time together, chatting, laughing, meeting new classmates, and even learning the rules of a new game — in German, of course.

We’ll be back with another social event at the end of August, and we’d love to see you there. Keep an eye on our website and Instagram for all the details.

See you soon!
