Special course: Performing and Learning German

Join our performance workshop!

You don’t need any acting experience to join—just curiosity, commitment, and a touch of creativity. This workshop isn’t about perfect performances or theatre awards; it’s about learning German together in a playful, cooperative way, exploring an alternative learning process, and enjoying the journey as a group.

As part of his doctoral research, your teacher Francesco is exploring how performance-based approaches in German classes support transcultural learning and how learners experience this format. For this reason, participants are asked to consent to the collection of research data (such as questionnaires, interviews, audio recordings, photos, and videos). All data will, of course, be anonymized and evaluated only after the course has finished.

Have you completed an A2 course or are you currently learning at B1 level? Then this workshop is for you. The course is designed for learners at B1.1 level.

Participation is free of charge, as the workshop is part of a doctoral project. The only cost involved is the course textbook (approx. €25–30).
