Cultural Clashes, classics of European literature and German history in pictures
Graphic novels – or comics – have become quite famous over the past few years. Especially for those starting to learn German, graphic novels offer complex storylines and characters with minimal text, led by vibrant imagery.
The last social event of 2024 brought a group of students to the christmas market in Nikolaiviertel. This market stands out because it’s located in one of the very few historical quarters of Berlin and because it’s so cozy.
At Transmitter, we mostly teach German and make sure things run smoothly in our classrooms. However, sometimes we just hang out together and have a good time.
On December 17th and 19th, we will host a special workshop which combines learning German with movement. Our workshop is meant to reach haptic learners in particular, who enjoy learning most when they can get active themselves. This is the second part of our experimental workshop we hosted earlier this year.
