OUR LANGUAGE SCHOOL

TRANSMITTER is located in Berlin-Kreuzberg, on Gneisenaustraße, right at the U-Bahn stop of the same name (line U7).

From here, it’s just a stone’s throw to our beautiful Bergmannkiez, with its many bars, cafés and shops – the perfect place for a leisurely stroll, enjoying the snacks and coffees that the neighbourhood brings. Just around the corner is the Kreuzberger Marheineke Markthalle, where you can find all kinds of culinary delights to take home, or sit in and enjoy a delicious lunch.

Those who like having a drink in the park after class or want to enjoy the sunset have

several possibilities not far from the school. We’re just a short distance from Tempelhofer Feld (a now-disused airport), as well as Hasenheide in Neukölln, and Viktoriapark on the outskirts of Schöneberg. In addition to this, the Urbanufer directly on the canal is a wonderful place for a relaxed start or end to the day.

Our language school was founded in 2012 in Berlin-Neukölln. After seven wonderful years in Schillerkiez, we moved to our new location in Kreuzberg in the summer of 2019.

Gallery visit with Katja

Our last gallery visit took us to Urban Nation, a very inspiring art space dedicated to street art and contemporary urban culture. Our group went on a rally through the whole space which expands over two floors, to discuss and discover the history and aesthetics of Berlin street art.
